![]() The organ is integrated with 21 ranks of pipes from the church’s 1970’s Casavant pipe organ, employing slider action chests and electric stop action. A Phoenix pipe driver system interfaces the pipes to the new Phoenix custom organ. The pipe organ had the following disposition:
There are both English and French digital samples in the instrument and four specifications are provided from the new three manual and pedal illuminated tab console. Specification 1 provides an English style, with the stops marked by an asterisk playing the Casavant pipes. For specification 2 the English digital sounds are used and for the stops marked with an asterisk both the pipe and digital sounds operate simultaneously: the Pipes Off stop may be used to play using only the digital sound samples. Specification 3 uses French samples with the Casavant pipework and specification 4 operates in the same fashion as specification 2 but uses the French sound samples. This instrument was built in association with McGuire Classic Organs (California) and installed in January 2004.
